What: Series of handdrawings based on stories and events, first made analog and then edited/vectorized digitally.

Role: Visualizer, story teller.

In addition to visual and installation art, my graphic identity has grown in the past four years and comes back throughout different areas of my work. Black and white line drawings with a pop-art twist have become the red thread for my graphic handwriting. With these I would like to convey a juxtapositional feeling by creating a chaotic sight at first, but integrating a foundation of a thought-through story. When this is acknowledged, the viewer reaches the state of understanding the coherent message underneath, making it less chaotic and more personal. A style that has been inspired by cultural influences, humor and modern day peculiarities.

I think it is very important that I can convey the underlying thought and message to the viewer with both my visual and graphic works. That is why I have been fascinated to translate stories and events that happen around me into these drawings.
